A retired farmer, a doctor, a government worker, a small business owner, a carpenter, a teacher … All of us make a living in a different way, but we have one thing in common – we live and enjoy the small Borough of Delta, Pennsylvania. Being part of a small town allows us to see how “the other half lives.” We don’t let our social status, our incomes, or our egos come between good friends and neighbors. As the Mayor of Delta Borough, I would be remiss if I didn’t point out this tremendous advantage of living together in a small community.
I want to welcome you to Delta Borough, a community proud of its heritage and excited about its future. We share respect for small-town ambience, the beauty of our land, and the well-being of our children and elderly. From the earlier days of the Borough when Scottish and Welsh settlers tilled the land and worked in the mines, Delta has become a crossroads of sorts for those of all backgrounds living along the Mason-Dixon line. With cooperation, hard work, and respect for our neighbors, we join other small towns across the nation in showing our good side as a place to raise a family, live in comfortable retirement, or start our entrepreneurial dreams.
I invite you to come visit us … Delta Borough, “where smaller very well might be better.” Before you get in your vehicle and journey our way, you might want to check out this website. We hope to see you soon!
